Overview

The Government of Tripura is seeking qualified candidates for the roles of Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer at the Tripura Small Industries Corporation Limited (TSICL). Both positions are on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months and may be extended based on mutual consent. The office is located at Kunjaban Colony, Agartala, West Tripura.

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Company Secretary: Responsible for statutory filings, ensuring compliance with the Companies Act, managing Board meetings, and maintaining statutory registers.
• Chief Financial Officer: Oversees financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Qualifications

Company Secretary

Candidates must be either an Associate or Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS/FCS) in good standing, with a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. A degree in Law (LL.B.) is desirable. Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of post-membership experience is required, which should include statutory filings and management of board meetings.

Chief Financial Officer

Suitable candidates must be members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (CA) or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (CMA/ICWA), hold a postgraduate degree in Commerce, or possess an MBA with a specialization in Finance from a recognized institution. Retired officers with relevant experience are also eligible. The following experience is mandatory:

• CA or CMA: 5 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 3 years in a company or public sector undertaking.
• Postgraduate in Commerce or MBA (Finance): 10 years of finance and accounts experience in a corporate or public sector setting.
• Retired officers: 15 years in finance or accounts service.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 60 years as of the last date for submitting applications. Relaxation may be considered in exceptional cases.
