Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya, Belhat, Koraon, Prayagraj has released Notification No. 02/2026-27 inviting offline applications for the empanelment of 04 Guest Faculty Teachers on a contractual basis for the academic session 2026-27. The recruitment includes 03 PGT posts and 01 TGT post in History, Political Science, Commerce (Accountancy/Business Studies), and Social Studies.
The available vacancies are PGT History – 01 post, PGT Political Science – 01 post, PGT Commerce – 01 post, and TGT Social Studies – 01 post. Selected PGT candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹35,750, while the selected TGT candidate will receive ₹34,125 per month. The engagement is contractual and will continue up to 31 March 2027 from the date of appointment.
Candidates applying for PGT posts must possess the prescribed postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject along with the required teacher education qualification such as B.Ed. or other recognized integrated teacher education qualifications specified in the notification. Candidates must also be competent to teach through both English and Hindi medium. For the PGT Commerce post, the notification specifically states that candidates holding M.Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible.
For the TGT Social Studies post, candidates must have the prescribed graduate/integrated degree qualification with the required combination of Social Studies subjects along with B.Ed. or equivalent recognized teacher education qualification. The candidate must also have qualified the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) and must be competent to teach in English and Hindi medium.
The maximum age limit is 50 years as on 01 July 2026. Relevant teaching experience in recognized institutions, experience in residential schools, networking, and computer knowledge are listed as desirable qualifications for the respective posts.
Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of merit and interview. The recruitment notice mentions a Walk-in Interview in Physical Mode, for which the exact date and venue will be communicated separately to eligible candidates. Candidates who remain absent from the interview may have their candidature cancelled, and no travelling allowance will be payable for attending the interview.
Applications have to be submitted in offline mode. Interested candidates can obtain/download the application form from the official Prayagraj district website. The completed application form must be submitted either through Registered Post or personally to the Office of the Deputy Labour Commissioner, Prayagraj Division, 09 Mayo Road, Prayagraj – 211002. The detailed instructions state that applications will be accepted from 01 September 2026 to 15 September 2026.
Applicants must attach self-attested copies of their relevant educational certificates, marksheets, experience certificates, Aadhaar Card, and other required supporting documents with the application form. The envelope should clearly mention the name of Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya, Belhat, Koraon, Prayagraj and the name of the post applied for. Incomplete applications, unsigned applications, applications without required documents, or applications received after the prescribed deadline may be rejected.
For PGT – History / Political Science: Master's degree in the concerned subject or specialization in the concerned subject, provided the candidate studied the concerned subject at graduation level. The notification also specifies the required teacher-education qualification, including recognized integrated postgraduate/B.Ed.-related qualifications, generally with at least 50% marks, and competence to teach through English and Hindi medium.
For PGT – Commerce: Master's degree in Commerce, with the concerned subject studied at graduation level. The document specifically says holders of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics are not eligible. Required recognized teacher-education/B.Ed. qualifications and competence in English and Hindi medium also apply
Eligible candidates can submit the application form until 15 September 2026. Applications received after the notified deadline may not be accepted.
