The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) is inviting applications for the position of Science Communicator and Designer on a contract basis. This position aims to enhance communication strategies and public outreach related to the organization's research and developments. ARCI invites applications for one (1) Science Communicator and Designer position. This role is critical for improving public engagement and dissemination of scientific findings.
The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
The selected candidate will receive a monthly consolidated remuneration ranging from ₹50,000 to ₹70,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

In addition, a strong portfolio of published work is essential, and proficiency in MS Office and digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva) is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are also mandatory.

Applicants must meet the following qualifications: Master's degree in Communication, Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Science Communication, Public Relations, Advertising, Digital Media, or an equivalent discipline. Master's or Bachelor's degree (B.E. or B.Tech) in Physical, Chemical, or Materials Sciences, or an equivalent science discipline. Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of proven professional experience in science communication, journalism, or institutional communication.
