Examination Dates

The examinations will be conducted as follows:

• Intermediate Group I: January 2, 4, and 6, 2027
• Intermediate Group II: January 8, 10, and 12, 2027
• Foundation Examination: January 3, 5, 7, and 9, 2027

Examination Timings

The timings for the examinations are as follows:

• Foundation Papers:
• Paper 1 and Paper 2: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST (3 hours)
• Paper 3 and Paper 4: 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM IST (2 hours)
• Intermediate Papers: All papers will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST (3 hours). Notably, all papers except Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will have an advance reading time of 15 minutes from 1:45 PM to 2:00 PM IST.

Examination Mode and Medium

The ICAI examinations will be conducted offline using pen and paper. Candidates have the option to answer the papers in either English or Hindi.

Examination Centres

The examinations will be held in various cities across India, as well as in overseas locations including Bahrain, Dubai (UAE), and Kathmandu (Nepal). The ICAI reserves the right to withdraw any examination city or centre as necessary.

• Kathmandu Centre (Single Group or Unit excluding Unit 2): ₹2,200
• Kathmandu Centre (Both Groups or Unit 2): ₹3,400
