The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the School Librarian Eligibility Test (SLET) for the year 2026. This test is designed for candidates seeking certification to qualify for positions as school librarians within the state of Bihar.

The School Librarian Eligibility Test serves as a certification exam. Candidates who successfully pass will be awarded a pass certificate, which validates their eligibility for future appointments in school libraries.

To apply for the SLET, candidates must meet the following requirements: Completion of a graduation degree with a minimum of 45% marks. A degree in Library Science is mandatory. Residents of Bihar must upload a valid residential certificate. A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories, women, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) of Bihar.
